The Lea-557 is a very stylish and sexy shoe. It is popular for both men and women due to it's wider width, larger vamp, sturdy heel and the availability to purchase it in a larger size. Although this sandal is not classified as a wide width by the manufacturer, we have found it will fit a wider foot nicely.
Reviewing this product, the shoe appears to be well made for the price. We experienced little heel movement when walking and very little foot slip. The ankle strap also adds comfort and support stopping your foot from sliding off to the side causing one to fall. The wide vamp is cut so it does not pinch the baby toe as commonly found in open toe shoes. The overall shape of the shoe, the roundness of the front and the larger sizes, makes it so it will accept a man's wider foot without the normal discomfort.
We have found that this item is true to size. A woman normally wearing a size 10 heel should order a size 10. A man should add two sizes to his normal shoe size. In case of half size, go to the next larger size (a male wearing a 10 1/2 should order a size 13).
The price of this shoe ranges from site to site from $26.00 to around $45.00 "this does not include shipping". Be warned that some sites offer low prices to lure people in only to inflate the shipping price, making the overall price higher than some other stores.
